Behind These Hazy Eyes...

Updating after what seems like ages. But yay, it just means I have more to say. Well, kinda.

Whee...I'm all hazy eyed now, thanks to my new lenses. *blinks* Did have a trial pair a while back, but that was almost a month ago. Been wearing the new ones since afternoon, and now my eyes feel all worn out and tired. And dryish. Gotta get used to em now. Will only get my glasses back tomorrow evening, all fresh and repaired (cos they fell from the bedside table and cracked LOL), as well as a spare pair.

I dunno whether it was just me, but all the cassette covers in the music shop near the optician's...seemed HUGE suddenly. It's weird. Maybe it was the effect of my lenses. Have gotta go check out this mystery when glasses are back.

Gotta type fast. Need to take off lenses soon. If I try to type after taking em off, I'll just have to go all squinty eyed and lean waaaay close to the screen.

Ooh...Friday and Saturday were total fun. Friday I was at Suku's place, after the last and final exam - Chem. Stayed over for the night, and even though we chickened out on staying up for the night cos we were just too sleepy, it was fun! Saturday afternoon, from her place, we left with Karishma (who also stayed over) and Neily, to Kemps Corner. Went to the Crossword Bookstore there. What a wonderful place it is. *sigh*

Anyhoo...bought two books there:
Rosie Dunne by Cecelia Ahern (written by Nicky's wife's sis...hee...somehow that just makes it so much nicer to own...already finished it...its AWESOME!)
In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner (the one thats being made into a movie starring Cameron Diaz)

Blee. I'm bored now. And so so tired. And I have class tomorrow morning. How poo is that?

Read the update to 'Bittersweet Pain' the other day...the HPDM fanfic I can't seem to get enough of. It's wonderful.

Whee...been checking out all these weird links recently. Here's one I picked up from Moony's blog.

Human For Sale.com - apparently I'm worth $1,703,068. How amazing is that? LOL.

Don't quite have the patience to post up the others now. My eyes are closing.

Anyhoo...last and final thing.

My favourite people at the moment would be:

Sukanya - Just because she's the only friend of mine who seems to be nice and supportive about everything I think and do. And most importantly..the only one who is half SANE. LOL. And she's my sister and bessssssst friendy ever.Love ya girly.

Prongy - Whee. Coz she's the best online buddy evah! And she's being extra- sweet nowadays. LOL. Hee. And coz she posted us a review for SIB. Who ever heard of authors reviewing their own fics? *grin* Prongy dahling, forever shall we unite against the slashyness of Moony/Tonky. LOL. *huggles*

Moody - He is the sweetest guy I have EVER known. Hee. From the SMSes he sends, to the chats we have, to his opinions on my crushes. *wink* LOL.

Now I shall shut up, change, take off my lenses, and retire to bed.

Toodles.

Paddy

And Suku meant that when someone is on your favourite people list (she is on mine, in case your wonderfully sighted eyes did not see) and you can call them at local phone rates, you usually know a lot about what that person does the whole day, or who she/he might chat with. Hope you got it now...*poke*

Haha. Sadly enough, even Sukanya dahling knows French. LOL. And obviously I remember French. LOL, Rita Ma'am was fun...weird, but fun. I remember Sajjad and somebody else once pestering me and Anna and calling us French ambassadors cos we knew more French than the lot of you when we joined.

Psst...bout the bad/good girl thing, Sukanya's a very confused person.

10:37 PM

Blogger sukanya said:

LMAO!! i just realised all that confusion i caused becoz of my wonderfully contradictory comments..

And yes moi = une fille francaise

1:13 AM

Blogger Paddy said:

*pats Moody's head consolingly* You shall soon notice little things that differ in the way we talk. (Hopefully) Oh but well, it helps to notice that I use punctuation and capital letters more than Suku.

And I'm pathetic at Arabic...haha...so don't try. I think I almost failed at MEIS in Arabic my first exam there. Then I got better, but now I've forgotten everything, hehe.

LMAO at you staying away from Rita ma'am after your boards. What'd she do when she got her hands on you?

And ooh, what dyu remember? Temme!! =P

9:13 AM

Blogger sukanya said:

Lol... so now i ahall start using more punctuation.. that way moodyJI will be thoroughly confused!!
Nah... get this - i use a WHOLE LOTTA dot-dot-dot (...) and way too many !!! lol... hope that helps.. :-)

1:18 AM

Blogger sukanya said:

Ah i forgot - this Rita ma'am story is one of the rare ones that i HAVEN"T heard.. lol.. so go ahead and tell all! - both of you

1:20 AM

Blogger Paddy said:

LOL hope the differences between how we both type help ya, Moody.

Oh, Rita Ma'am was our French teacher. She didn't know a lot of English, so unless you were good at French, it was kinda hard to get what she was saying sometimes.

She was nice, but a lil weird, like all French teachers are. Ooh, and she had one adorable kid. He used to keep coming to our classes and prancing around.

When Annie & I joined, we'd already learned quite a bit of French by then, so we knew more than everyone else at MEIS, and we could pretty much understand Rita Ma'am's French rantings(which were way better & slower than our wonderful Ruia French teacher). So Sajjad was sitting behind us one day, and he was calling us French ambassadors cos we knew entirely too much French.

4:14 PM

Anonymous Anonymous said:

well..thatz the same thing ma account of the incident is all about..there was nuthin much in there othr than the fact that he called u bith french ambassadors..

n well u were lucky enuff tht u knew french wen u had joind..wen i joind i had nooooo idea wut french was..lol..n i started on rita mamz hand..soo u can as well imagine..but amzingly she taught really good wen i ws goin 2 her house..=D

3:06 PM

Blogger Paddy said:

Haha well, she didn't get pissed with me much, seeing as I was one of her star pupils. I did get 100/100 on the last French exam I gave before I left, LOL. I was way thrilled with that, I remember.

LOL. Poor her.

Ooh, that was why I was so happy. Haha. Moozy got 99/100 that time. LMAO.

12:59 AM
